Rosemarie Higgins Hogg's practice involves the exploration of the local community through ethnography, inspired by the practice of Mark Bradford. It is presented through multiple mediums including paper and digital media, that focuss upon creating a conversation and opening people up to different perspectives. Within this module the artist Rosemarie Higgins Hogg has overcame aspects of the pandemic by moving towards digital media and poetry despite initially working in a sculptural/installation format.

The art piece Acknowledge what is left is a piece that is based upon what is left behind in the Sincil Bank area through the visual word and is focused upon the varying communities and the literature of the location. The piece aims to make you consider your surroundings but to also make you focus upon the different communities that reside within the one set location.
